The Players of LMTCC have decided to get fit for the new season & help charities along the way. unable to train together to work on their cricketing skills due to COVID, the players have been working on their fitness individually in preparation for the season ahead. This sparked an idea between them to try to put their hard work to use, & they have decided to raise money for 3 chosen charities along the way.
During February, players will be aiming to “virtually” cover the distance from La Manga Club in Murcia to the home of cricket, Lords Cricket Ground, London (2,123km) by way of walking, running & cycling.
They are looking for sponsorship to encourage their efforts and will be splitting all monies received between their own club funds & 3 chosen charities:
1. Reach OUT Torrevieja – Helping the homeless & needy in the Torrevieja Area
2. Cutaneous Lymphoma foundation – providing support for those diagnosed with this disease
3. Los Infiernos Perrera – helping & rehoming animals in the Murcia region
You can help to support their efforts by donating on the just giving page at gf.me/u/zg2v8w , and we will keep you updated on how they get on – good luck!!
